Wellington Attack
On the night of 12th/13th August 1941 No.9 Squadron, in their Wellington Bombers,
are once again taking the war into the heart of 'Nazi' Germany. WS-G's Skipper Flt/Lt Kenneth Ball fights to keep her straight and level through the
intense flak that surrounds the target, while his Front Gunner Sgt Cyril Chandler tries in vain to take on the menace of the searchlights that seek
their Wellington. Both Aircraft coded WS-G and WS-Z would be listed as 'Failed To Return' from this mission.
